Valerie Arlene Hosey Martin, age 85, a resident of De Queen, died Saturday, February 24, 2018, in the Bear Creek Healthcare, De Queen. Mrs. Martin was born to Ira and Pearl Tullis Hosey on July 16, 1932, in the Schaal Community in Howard County, Arkansas.
She was a member of the Church of Christ in De Queen, as well as, the Sunshine Club, Union Quilting Club, and the Red Hat Club. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Jack Moulder and Henry Martin, and two brothers, Billy Wayne Hosey and Dale Hosey.
She is survived by three daughters, one brother, two sisters, twelve grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Arlene Martin will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2018, at 2:00 P.M., in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Redmen Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 28th, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
