Mayona Middleton Huff McDougal, 89, of Batesville, departed this earth to her Heavenly home on August 8, 2015. She was born in Pleasant Plains, Arkansas on May 1, 1926 and was the daughter of Cleddie and Clemzora Robertson Middleton. She was a lifelong devoted Christian of the Assembly of God faith.

Survivors include her son, Ardell Huff and wife, Cathy, of Batesville; three step-sons, A J McDougal, Wayne McDougal, and Everett McDougal; a granddaughter, Tina Boyce and husband, Jack of Bald Knob; a grandson, Brannon Ardell Huff and wife, Bridget, of Batesville; and several great-grandchildren. Other survivors include one brother, D C Middleton of London, AR, one sister, Alma Slitter of Dardenelle, AR; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Walter Huff; her second husband, Everett McDougal; a granddaughter, Lisa Huff Woodruff; one infant grandson; three brothers, Ardell Middleton, F L Middleton, and Paul Middleton; and two sisters, Zora Slitter, and Earline "Dixie" Brown.

Pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary pallbearers are Gene Huff, May Godfrey, Dr. Richard VanGrouw, and Dr. Robert B. Walton.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Putman Cemetery in Pleasant Plains under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.

There will be no visitation.
