Kelly Dean Clark, 78, of Pleasant Plains died Wednesday, September 3, 2014, at a local hospital.

Born, March 12, 1936, in Pleasant Plains, he was the son of Vernon Clark and Amy Maunz Clark.

He was a graduate of Pleasant Plains High School. He retired from ConAgra after 30 years of service from 1971 to 2001. He was a member of the Army Reserve, enjoyed hunting, fishing and visiting with friends; his favorite pastime was deer hunting. He was a lifetime member of Cornerstone United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Ada Belle McClure Clark of Pleasant Plains; two sons, Martin Keith Clark and Kerry Don Clark, both of Pleasant Plains; a daughter, Cindy Cherie Johnson and her husband, Jeffrey, of Jacksonville, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Rebecca Lauren Johnson and Matthew Boyd Johnson, both of Jacksonville; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Randy Dean Clark.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 6, 2014, at Cornerstone United Methodist Church with Steve Long officiating.

Pallbearers will be Nickey Pearson, Scott McClure, Rusty Castleman, Greg Pierce, Mark Carpenter and Clay Long.

Burial will be in Putnam Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville

Visitation is from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, September 5, 2014, at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital Foundation, 1 Children's Way, Little Rock, AR 72202; Cornerstone United Methodist Church, 4270 Blackland Rd., Pleasant Plains, AR 72568; or to charity of choice.

Ada Belle Clark, 77, of Pleasant Plains, died Sunday, March 25, 2018.

She was born on September 15, 1940 in Paroquet, Arkansas to Melvin McClure and Edith (Donaho) McClure.

Ada put her faith in Jesus and followed Him for the rest of her days. She was an encourager to the core and showed kindness to all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Cherie Johnson (Jeff) of Sherwood; two sons, Keith Clark and Kerry Clark both of Pleasant Plains; two grandchildren, Rebecca Johnson and Matthew Johnson; brother, Hayden McClure (Fern) of Batesville; sister, Sherry Pierce of Southside; and a brother-in-law, Henry Long; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kelly Clark; son, Randy Clark; and sister, Katherine Long.

Pallbearers will be Mark Carpenter, Ethan Carpenter, Greg Pierce, Nickey Pearson Jr., Clay Long, and Ronnie McCance. Honorary pallbearers will be Nickey Pearson Sr., Clint McCance, and Lynn Pearson.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 30, 2018 at Cornerstone United Methodist Church in Pleasant Plains with Rev. James Wheeler and Rev. Steve Long officiating. Burial will follow at Putman Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home in Batesville.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Cornerstone United Methodist Church, 4270 Blackland Road, Pleasant Plains, AR 72568 or Arkansas Food Bank, 4301 W 65th Street, Little Rock, AR 72209.
