When Thomas Roy Etheridge and his twin brother Ray were born in 1905 in Bald Knob, Arkansas, their father, Thomas, was 38, and their mother, Mattie, was 32. He married Vera Alene Cullem on November 19, 1923, in his hometown. He died in 1955 in Bald Knob, Arkansas, at the age of 50.
