FAYETTEVILLE — Retha Mae Brewer-Montgomery, 75, of Fayetteville died March 28, 2012, Washington Regional Medical Center. She was born July 3, 1936, in St. Paul to Floyd and Alpha Brewer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don Montgomery; brother, Kenneth Brewer and grandson, Zachary Houghland.

Survivors include her two daughters, Vicki Campbell and husband Scott of Springdale and Terry Carpenter and husband Darryl of Fayetteville; sister, June Bragg of West Fork; grandchildren, Chuck Houghland and wife Lexy of Farmington, Amy Jefferson and husband Phil of Greenland, Clayton Houghland and wife Amber of Fayetteville, Levi Carpenter and wife Stephanie of Fayetteville, Russell Carpenter of Fayetteville and Dalton Campbell of Muskogee, Okla.; 11 great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends.

Family received friends Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Beard's Funeral Chapel. A graveside service was held Saturday, March 31, 2012, at 3 p.m. with Pastor Brian Brown officiating.

Burial was at McCord Cemetery under direction of Beard's Funeral Chapel.
