SPRINGDALE — Wilda Jean Kellar, age 72, of Springdale, died June 27, 2010, at Circle of Life Hospice House in Springdale.
She was born March 5, 1938, in Combs, Ark., the daughter of Byron and Lona Belle Long Warford.
She was of the Pentecostal faith, a homemaker and had worked in the jewelry department at Wal-Mart. She enjoyed growing flowers, arts and crafts, needlepoint and shopping.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Mary Robinson; and two grandchildren, Brandy Nichole Harvey and Andrew Michael Blodgett.
She is survived by two sons, Charles Baxter and Mary of Springdale, and Jimmy Baxter and Debbie of Maryland; three daughters, Tammy Watkins and Rex of Lowell, Theresa Blodgett and Kevin of Fort Worth, Texas, and Kimberly Phoumivong of Columbia, Tenn.; Onial Cook, of the home; four brothers, Dewey Warford of West Fork, Willis Warford of Baldwin, Johnny Warford of Elkins and Garrett Warford of Elkins; three sisters, Mildred Roach of Fayetteville, Dollie Belle Black of Springdale and Geraldine Coleman of Fayetteville; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1 o'clock Thursday, July 1, 2010, at Faith Regular Baptist Church in Elm Springs, with the Rev. Gary Jewell and the Rev. Lowell Bradley officiating.
Burial will follow at McCord Cemetery at Elkins under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 4 o'clock until 6 o'clock Wednesday at Memorial Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Circle of Life, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, AR 72762.
