Robert Earl Whitworth, age 92, of Doddridge, Arkansas, died Friday, July 19, 2019 at his home.
Mr. Whitworth was born June 19, 1927 in Cass County, Texas, and was lifetime residence of Doddridge, Arkansas. He was a retired Forest Ranger with the Arkansas Forestry Commission, retired Pipefitter and school bus driver with the Bright Star Independent School District. He was a member of Olive Branch United Methodist Church and the Olive Branch Masonic Lodge #136. Robert was also a graduate of the class on 1946 in Bright Star, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ernestine Whitworth in 1977.

He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, La Fonda and Joe Clough of Doddridge, Arkansas, one son, Larry Smith of Doddridge, Arkansas, one sister, Delta Mae Stuckey of Doddridge, Arkansas, two grandchildren, Caitlan Clough and Logan Clough and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A. M. Monday at Olive Branch United Methodist Church with Rev. Walter Burnett officiating. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.
The family will receive friends at the Olive Branch United Methodist Church, Sunday afternoon from 4:00 to 6:00 P. M.
