Mrs. Josie Beaver, 83, wife of Ed Beaver of Chidester, died early Friday morning in a local hospital. Mrs. Beaver was a pioneer resident of Chidester, having lived her entire life there, and was a member of Rushing Memorial Methodist Church. Funeral services are set for Saturday at 2 p.m. at Proctor's Chapel with burial in Holleman Cemetery at Chidester. Besides her husband, Mrs. Beaver is survived by five sons, Ted E. J. and Joe Beaver, all of Camden, Ellis and Thurman Beaver, both of Chidester, one sister, Mrs. Oscar Sweatman of Camden, 18 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
