Donna Lee Rogers, age 73, a resident of De Queen, passed from this life on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at the Bear Creek Healthcare, De Queen. She was born Donna Lee Christian to the late Herman and Bertha L. House Christian on March 25, 1946 in Whittier, California.
She attended the Old Union Baptist Church in Lockesburg and was a homemaker. She enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a lover of Diet Cokes, nature and gardening, but most of all, she cherished the time spent with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Wayne Christian.
She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons and one daughter-in-law, Roy Allan Rogers, Jr. and Joseph Edmond “Joey” and Carey Rogers, all of De Queen; six grandchildren, Shae Rogers of Foreman, Brittany Rogers of Horatio, Jacob, Jessica, Jennifer and Jordan Rogers, all of De Queen, Arkansas; three sisters, Alma Hunter of De Queen, Anita Jones and her husband Dean of Evansville, Indiana and Willa Mae Gathright of Lockesburg; as well as, a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Graveside funeral services for Ms. Donna Rogers will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 9, 2019 in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Lockesburg, Arkansas with Bro. Donnie Davis officiating,
