Mrs. Mary Sue "Molly" Johnston, 81, of Camden Route 4, near Locust Bayou died in a Camden hospital at 3:00 p.m. Saturday. She was the widow of Harry C. Johnston, a lifelong resident of Calhoun County, and a member of the Methodist Church. She is survived by a son, Edd Johnston of Camden; a daughter, Mrs. James Bradshaw of El Dorado; five sisters, Mrs. Dora Simms, of Wharton, Texas, Mrs. Sadie Fox, Mrs. Alice Dean, Mrs. Bet Chambliss, and Mrs. Mat Grisham all of Camden; by three grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Funeral services were at 2:30 p.m. Monday (today) at the Salem Church near Bearden, conducted by Rev. H. D. Ginther and Rev. Duell Tanner. Burial was in the Salem cemetery by Proctor Funeral Home. Casket bearers were nephews. (Camden News - April 17, 1961)
