March 18, 1880 - January 13, 1968
Mrs. Carrie Zula Padgett aged 87 pf the Millville community near Bearden died in a local hospital Saturday night. Mrs. Padgett was a member of the Bearden Baptist Church and a lifelong resident of Ouachita County. She is survived by one brother, W. A. James of Camden, one sister, Mrs. Charles Harrod of Fordyce, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Monday 11:00 a.m. at Proctor's Chapel with burial in the Salem Cemetery.
