Dorothy Louise Oliver Burton, age 78, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 12, 2016 at her home in Chidester, AR.
She was born January 26, 1938 in Reader, AR. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Viva Oliver, her first husband, Alton Tuberville, her second husband, Richard A. Burton, two brothers W. R. Oliver and Calvin Oliver, and two sisters, Delta Broome and Mona Hurley.
Dorothy is survived by four daughters, Julia Dyke and husband, Randy of Louisa, VA, Janet Graham and husband, Scott of Camden, Jennifer Schucker and husband, Butch of Clarksville, AR, and Margaret Hoskyn and husband, Charles of Sherwood, AR, one son, Jimmy Burton and wife, Jill of Hot Springs, AR, nine grandchildren, Brandon Jennings and wife, Heather, Sarah Starnes and husband, Justin all of Camden, Laura Dishner and husband, Barrett of Las Vegas, NV, Trey Schucker of Searcy, AR, Audrey and Mason Schucker both of Clarksville, AR, Cammy Mosley and Natalie Mosley Hoskyn both of Little Rock, AR and Kristen Burton of Hot Springs, AR and nine great grandchildren, Kayleigh and Kelsey Starnes, Tristan and Leah Jennings, Abby, Keira, and Emily Dishner, Parker Hosman and Madeline Lammey, one sister, Jewel Burroughs of Camden, and two brothers, James Oliver and wife Eloise of Camden, and Brown Oliver and wife Maxine of Magnolia, AR and a host of nieces and nephews.
Dorothy was retired from Walmart and was a faithful member of Grace Baptist Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loved spending time with her family.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 15, 2016 at Grace Baptist Church with burial at Missouri Cemetery in Chidester, AR. Brother Richard Foster will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday, February 14, 2016 at the funeral home.
