Valree Stinnett Kraft, 85 of Chidester, AR passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2012. She was born February 25, 1927 to Henderson F. and Belton S. Pickett Stinnett in Chidester, AR. She was member of Church of God. She served on the school board, city council and assisted with the Cub Scouts, Brownie and Girl Scouts.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Franklin Stinnett. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, John B. Kraft; sons, John L. Kraft and wife, Mary of Chidester, AR; Cecil C. Kraft and wife, Sandy of Sherwood, AR; daughter, Candice Weedman and husband, Tom of North Little Rock, AR; brothers, Johnson Stinnett of Chidester, AR, William L. "Billy Bo" Stinnett of Chidester, AR; sister, Judy Sweatman and husband, Johnnie of Schriever, LA; nieces and nephews, Sherry Bourgeois of Schriever, LA, Frankie Sweatman of Houma, LA, Pam Clay of Chidester, AR, Billie Stinnett of Chidester, AR, Leslie Stinnett and Paul Stinnett; grandchildren, Jonathan Weedman of Dallas, TX, Angie Carlton of Carthage, MO, Michael Kraft of Conway, AR, Gina Kraft of Conway, AR, Brenda Spradling, Rhonda Spradling and Linda "Gerber" Underhill; great grandchildren, Meaghan Shea Carlton, Patrick Joseph Carlton, Brady Thomas Carlton, Carrigan Rose Carlton, Reagan Kraft and John Carter Kraft.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Proctor Funeral Home with burial in Little Missouri Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Little Missouri Cemetery Fund or Chidester History Museum.
