When Sam Blair McKaskle was born on January 23, 1883, in Wooster, Arkansas, his father, Daniel, was 35 and his mother, Mary, was 25. He married Caldonia D Langston on September 13, 1903, in Faulkner Township, Arkansas. They had six children in 11 years. He died on July 13, 1954, at the age of 71, and was buried in Greenbrier, Arkansas.
