When JAMES HENRY DUKE was born on February 20, 1896, in Arkansas, his father, JAMES, was 33 and his mother, HATTIE, was 27. He married LEONA A WINKLER on March 6, 1920, in Faulkner Township, Arkansas. They had three children in 10 years. He died on October 9, 1943, in Kerr, Texas, at the age of 47.
