When David Tony Brannon was born on October 19, 1888, in Faulkner, Arkansas, his father, James, was 35 and his mother, Susan, was 32. He married Rosa McDonald on September 5, 1907, in his hometown. They had three children during their marriage. He died on June 15, 1959, in his hometown at the age of 70.
