Junior Leftwich, 81, of Van Buren, Arkansas died Sunday, February 2, 2008 at a local hospital. He was born October 22, 1926 in Alma. He was a retired employee of Whirlpool Corporation, was a Baptist and the widower of Imogene Leftwich. He is survived by daughters Carolyn Brown of Sprio, Oklahoma Sandra and Deborah Riley, both of Van Buren, and Vicki Allen of Fort Smith, Arkansas; son Anthony Leftwich of Conway, Arkansas; sister, Ellen Muck of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; brothers Cleo Leftwich of Fort Smith, Walter Leftwich of Prairieville, Louisiana and Carl Leftwich of Canton, Texas; 11 grandchildren and 15 great - grandchildren.

He is survived by four daughters, Carolyn Brown of Sprio, Sandra and Deborah Riley, both of Van Buren, and Vicki Allen of Fort Smith; a son, Anthony Leftwich of Conway; a sister, Ellen Muck of Oklahoma City; three brothers, Cleo Leftwich of Fort Smith, Walter Leftwich of Prairieville, LA, and Carl Leftwich of Canton, Texas; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be today at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Alma Cemetery in Alma. Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
