When Daniel Franklin Patton was born on September 7, 1886, in Conway, Arkansas, his father, Lando, was 25 and his mother, Classic, was 25. He married Lorana Elizabeth "Lizzie" Harmon on February 23, 1906. They had six children during their marriage. He died on May 21, 1951, in Little Rock, Arkansas, at the age of 64, and was buried in Greenbrier, Arkansas.
