Funeral services for Arthur Moore, 88, 1008 North 35th Street, Fort Smith, Arkansas were conducted Friday afternoon at the Alma Baptist Church with the Rev Silas Haley officiating. Burial was at Alma cemetery under the direction of Edwawrd Funeral Home. Mr Moore, a retired farmer, had lived in Alma, Arkansas all his life before moving to Fort Smith about six months ago. He died February 8, 1961 at a local hospital following a short illness. Survivors include sons Walter and Homer; daughter Rena; half-brother Lee; half-sister; Julie; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
