Buel Harris, 93, of Alma, Arkansas passed away Saturday; September 5, 2015 in his home. He was born April 17, 1922 in Alma, Arkansas to Charles and Nora Weese Harris. He was a retired truck driver, a US Navy Veteran having served in World War II and of the Church of Christ faith. He is preceded in death by both parents and wife JoAnn Johnson Harris. Survivors include daughters, Susan and husband Warren DeLaet of Alma, Elaine and husband Danny Harrison of Mountainburg, Arkansas; Cathy and husband Paul Lopez of De Ridder, Louisiana; son Joel Harris and wife Barbara of Alma; sister, Marilyn Jones of Alma; brothers Bob Harris of Fort Smith,Arkansas; Bill Harris and wife Pat of Alma; five grandchildren and six Great Grandchildren.

JoAnne Harris, 76 of Alma, Arkansas died Saturday, February 27, 2010 in her home. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her husband, Buell Harris;daughters Susan Delaet of Alma, Elaine Harrison of Mountainburg, Arkansas; Cathy Lopez of DeRidder, Louisiana; son Joel Harris of Alma; sisters Linda Carol Thomas & Laura Watkins both of Alma, Georgiana Pschiers of Greenwood,Arkansas; Connie Johnston of Flint, Michigan; brothers Bill Johnston and Randall Johnston both of Alma; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
