Mrs Estellas Wells, 87 years old, 811 North 41 Street, Fort Smith, Arkansas, died Wednesday, April 26, 1967 in a local hospital. She was the wife of the late J M Wells, retired mail carrier of Alma, who died August 2, 1948. She was born August 11, 1879 in Crawford county and was the daughter of Will and Emily Jane Dobbs Cole. She was a member of the Alma Baptist church and charter member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy in Alma. She was a resident of Crawford county until 1950 when she moved to Fort Smith, Arkansas to make her home with a daughter.Survivors are daughters, Mrs Lillian Russell of San Antonio, Texas, Mrs Helen Graham of Fort Smith, with whom she lived, Mrs Jamie Warbritton of El Dorado, Arkansas and Mrs Emma Jean Dow of Conway, Arkansas; ten grandchildren and one great-granchild.
