SPRINGDALE — Eva Sue Been, 70, of Springdale entered into rest after a 35-year battle with Parkinson on July 13, 2011, at The Maples at Har-Ber Meadows. She was born July 13, 1941, in Lubbock, Texas, to Walter Vance and Hazel Ruth Pearson Hill.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Springdale, ESA and enjoyed traveling and playing cards.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louie Edwin "Curley" Been; one brother, Jerry Hill; and one sister, Mary Scott.
She is survived by three sons, Ken Been and wife Patricia, and Eddie Been and Kim Ward, all of Springdale, and Rusty Been of Dallas, Texas; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be 6 p.m. Monday, July 18, 2011, at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale, with the Rev. Judy Van Hoose officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to National Parkinson Foundation, P.O. Box 5018, Hagerstown, MD 21741-5018.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of The Maples at Har-Ber Meadows.
