Dathan E Molder, 87, of Alma, Arkansas died Saturday, July 2, 2005, at a local hospital. He was a member of Alma First Baptist Church where he was a deacon and a Sunday school teacher. He was an Army veteran of World War II, a member of the Alma Masonic Lodge and the Eastern Star, a former member of the Alma Fire Department and a past fire chief. He was an active member of the Alma Airedale Booster Club and Alma Athletics and a Gideon. He was preceded in death by his wife Faye; granddaughter Kelli Dawn Molder and his parents H H and Hester Creekmore Molder.He is survived by sons, Barry and Kerry Molder, both of Conway, Arkansas and Bill Molder of Ozark, Arkansas; sisters, Mildred Montgomery of Fort Smith, Arkansas Freda Hawkins of Alma and Ada Chastain of Memphis, Tennessee; brother, Hobert Molder of Claremore, Oklahoma; grand -children, Bryce Molder of Little Rock, Arkansas Sarah and Tighe Molder of Conway,, Arkansas; Jake Molder of Nashville, Tennessee, and Brad and Brittany Molder of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Pallbearers were Ronnie Hawkins, Tommy Lovegrove and Bryce, Brad, Tighe and Jake Molder.Honorary pallbearers were Jay Coleman, Joe Hawkins, Stewart Porter, Wesley Warnock, Bob Brown, Raymond Brown and Mike Brown.
