SPRINGDALE — Leona Louise Wright, 64, of Springdale died Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. She was born April 30, 1949, in Springdale to Everett John and Gladys Mae Smith Wright.

Leona was a farmer and a homemaker. She enjoyed the simple things of cooking, canning, quilting and baking for the holidays. Her home was always open, and she was thoughtful and a woman of strong faith and enjoyed talking about the Lord. Her greatest joy was visiting with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Barbara McGarrah and Loretta Bohannon.

Survivors include two sons, Justin Ingram and wife, Alyson, of Hindsville and Dexter Hamblin of Hindsville; two daughters, Angela Munoz and husband, Octavio, of Springdale, and Tanya Scott and husband, Preston, of Huntsville; two brothers, Danny Wright of Springdale and Jim Wright of Huntsville; two sisters, Geneva Miller of Springdale and Clara Staggs of Hindsville; six grandchildren, Martin and Shawn Munoz, Kiana and Kyler Ingram, and Christian and Kaden Scott.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, at 3 p.m. at Encounter Church in Springdale, with Pastor Rodney Shipman officiating. Burial will he in Joyce Cemetery.

Visitation will occur one hour prior to the service at the church.

Pallbearers an Ricky Eagle, Daniel Wright, Christopher Butler, Craig Staggs, Sean Staggs and Kenny Hendrix.

Memorials may be made to Encounter Church, 1002 E. Huntsville Ave., Springdale, AR 72764.
