Mrs. Redena Gayle Spiess, 46, of Noel, Mo., departed this life Monday evening, Feb. 27, 2012, at Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, Mo., after a sudden illness.

Redena entered this life Nov. 1, 1965, in Auburn, Ind. born to the union of Gerald Lee and Vickie (McFeters) Fuller. Her formative years were spent in Hicksville, Ohio. She resided for 10 years in McClure, Ohio, before moving to Noel, Mo., in 2002. On Feb. 17, 2002, she was united in marriage to Phillip Jacob Spiess and together they have spent the last 10 years. She has been employed by Tyson's in Noel, Mo., for the last nine years.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Lee Fuller; her maternal grandmother, Nanetta Mansfield; paternal grandparents, Frank and Evelyn Fuller; and her great-grandmother, Ruth Brown.

Redena is survived by her husband, Phillip Spiess of the home; one son, Greg Ottinger of McClure, Ohio; her mother, Vickie Wiles of Noel, Mo.; a brother, Ronald Fuller and wife, Deborah, of Hamilton; Ind.; two sisters, Cynthia DeWitt and husband, Timothy; of Garrett, Ind., and Jalinda Wicker of Noel, Mo.; her father and mother-in-law, Wayne and Susanne Spiess of Archbold, Ohio; several nieces and nephews: as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service for Mrs. Spiess are 2 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2012, in the Noel Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Bro. Bob Holloway officiating. Burial will follow in the Butler Creek Cemetery in Sulphur Springs, Ark. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Bub Freeman, Grant Freeman, Dalton Freeman, Seth Freeman, Dawn DeWitt and Angie Willis. Alan McFeters and Gary Mansfield will be serving as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel.
