July 12, 1922 - January 12, 2017
Ruby Jewell Chandler age 94, a resident of New Blaine, Arkansas passed away Thursday, January 12, 2017, at her home. She was born July 12, 1922, in New Blaine to William Benjamin Harrison and Myrtle Mae Jones Parker. Ruby was a member of the New Blaine Church of Christ. She enjoyed gardening, yard work and her flowers. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Ollie Chandler; daughter Elwanda Cassidy; son Ollie Wayne Chandler; three sisters; and two brothers.
Survivors include son Johnny Lee Chandler and wife Linda of Paris, Arkansas; daughters Carolyn Sue Beasley of New Blaine and Shelby Stengel and husband Glen of Paris, Arkansas; brothers Winferd Carlin “Buddy” Parker of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Howard Carlton “Bill Jack” Parker of New Blaine; 12 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and 23 great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Tommy Beasley, Jr, Brad Parker, Cliff Chandler, James Chandler, Quinton Boyles, Allen Boyles. All of her grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.
