Rogers -- Howard Dean Ash, 50, of Pea Ridge died Wednesday at his home. Born April 26, 1933, in Berryville, the son of Orville Williams and Mae Kelly Ash, he was a lifetime resident of the area. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and manager of Model Laundry in Rogers for the past 12 years.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Barbara McKenzie Ash of the home; a son, Alan of Prairie Grove; two daughters, Mrs. Beverly Kelly of Odessa, Texas and Mrs. Pam Young of Seligman, Mo.; a step-mother, Dorene Maxwell of Rogers; three brothers, Kenneth, Don and Ron, all of Rogers; a sister, Mrs. Doris Varnell of Rogers, and two grandchildren.
Services are at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Burns Funeral Home Chapel of Rogers with burial in Reddick Cemetery near Garfield.
Visitation is from 4-7 p.m. today in the Burns Funeral Chapel.

Barbara L. Ash, 82, of Pea Ridge died Saturday, February 16, at Promenade Health & Rehab in Rogers.
She was born January 3, 1937, at Rogers, to Floyd Clifford McKenzie and Edith Weaver McKenzie. She was a homemaker, a Baptist and is preceded in death by her parents; husband Howard Ash; son Alan Ash; four brothers Clyde, Clarence, Guy and Clint McKenzie.
Survivors are two daughters Beverly Bowman (Ron), Pam Tyndall (Clark) and daughter-in-law Carol Ash all of Pea Ridge; seven grandchildren William Ash (Ashley), Kelsey McDaniel (Johnny), and Haylee Woollard (Wesley) all of Pea Ridge, Justin White (Jill) of Bella Vista, Sara Filler (Chris) of Hot Springs, Jeremy Young of Frederick, MO., Brett Ash of Erie, Colorado; and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral is set for 11:00a.m. Tuesday, February 19, at Sisco Funeral Home Chapel in Pea Ridge. No visitation. Burial will be at Ruddick Cemetery.
