LISA TARLTON MORELAND, 49, of Dumas, Arkansas died June 11, 2011. She was born October 29, 1961, in Dumas, AR. Her father James Howard (Buck) Tarlton preceded her in death.
Lisa was a homemaker and a former employee at Delta Memorial Hospital in Dumas, AR. She was a Registered Nurse for many years.
Lisa was a Christian and a member of Dark Corner Christian Church near Gould, AR, where she played piano like a pro! She also enjoyed leading worship services and music at her favorite church camp, "Bradley Christian Service Camp" in Star City, AR. Lisa had the gift of playing music, writing poetry and songs and was blessed with a wonderful singing voice! Most importantly, Lisa believed in sharing her faith in Jesus!
She was also an avid Hunter and a member of the Wargo Hunting Club.
Surviors are husband, Jimmy Moreland of Watson, AR; her mother, Irene Breedlove Heard of Dumas, AR; two sons,Jaymes Cody Moreland and Trapper Colt Moreland and one daughter, Dakota Layne Moreland all of Dumas, AR. CODY, TRAPPER & DAKOTA were the LIGHTS of her LIFE.
She is also survived by two sisters, Sarah Calvert of McGehee, AR, Kathy Chambers of Dumas, AR, and one brother, Johnny Heard of Dumas, AR, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends!
Lisa made many everlasting friendships on her walk down the road of life. She was a one-of-a-kind light in a dark world and I could never express what joy she brought to my life; for I am one of those lucky "everlasting friends."
