GATEWAY — Donald Schnitzer, age 75, of Gateway, Ark., passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Shiloh Nursing Care and Rehabilitation in Springdale, Ark. Donald was born in Gateway, Ark., on April 4, 1937, to Henry and Maude May (Relethford) Schnitzer.
Donald worked as a farmer and he really enjoyed selling produce at the local farmers markets.
Preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, George Schnitzer; Donald is survived by three sisters, Henrietta "Sis“ Coble of Arizona, Helen Wild of Colorado, Mary Katherine Suddath and husband, Paul, of Arizona; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 22, 2013, at the New Prospect Baptist Church in Gateway, Ark. Interment will follow at Bayless Cemetery across the street from New Prospect Baptist Church in Gateway.
