Cattie Leota Smith Freeman was born on February 4, 1884, in Drew, Arkansas. She married John Franklin " Frank " Freeman and they had four children together. She also had two daughters from another relationship. She died on October 26, 1971, in Gould, Arkansas, at the age of 87, and was buried there.
When John Franklin " Frank " Freeman was born on April 11, 1882, in Lincoln, Arkansas, his father, George, was 34 and his mother, Francis, was 34. He married Cattie Leota Smith Freeman on December 27, 1904, in Desha, Arkansas. They had four children during their marriage. He died on November 9, 1956, in Gould, Arkansas, at the age of 74, and was buried there.
