Her husband, George Riley Fink, joined the Union army in Cassville, Barry County, Missouri, 1 July 1863 - Private, Company I, 1 Arkansas Infantry.He was captured and sent to Camp Ford, Tyler, Texas, the largest Confederate prison camp west of the Mississippi, where he died under what circumstances no one can tell.
