Frances Boren Few, 64, of Star City, died May 5, 1998, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.

She was born on November 5, 1933, at Gould, a daughter of the late Cecil M. Boren Sr. and Mary Frances Cook Boren. She retired as the school secretary for the Gould School District
and was a Baptist.

Survivors include two sons, Timothy V. Gray of Nashville and Billy Lynn Gray of Memphis; a daughter, Pam James of Collierville, Tennessee; three brothers, Cecil Boren Jr. of Grady, Ben Boren of Melborn, Florida, and Brannon Boren of Jonesboro; three sisters, Joey Holthoff of Gould, Brenda Gasaway of Gould and Annette Knight of Pine Bluff; six grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. today in Dark Corner Cemetery near Gould with J.C. Patterson officiating. Arrangements were by Griffin Funeral Services of Star City.
