When Jacob Lafayette Bradshaw was born on July 19, 1883, in Redfield, Arkansas, his father, James, was 24 and his mother, Fannie, was 19. He had six sons and four daughters with Prudie Ann King. He died in 1977 in Dumas City, Arkansas, at the age of 94, and was buried in Gould, Arkansas.
