When Frances Wilma Ballinger was born on January 5, 1923, in Bald Hill, Oklahoma, her father, Francis, was 23, and her mother, Pearl, was 17. She had six children with Mr. Whitson, one child with Claude Wesley Turner, and one other child. She died on April 25, 2010, in Sacramento, California, at the age of 87, and was buried in Folsom, California.
