When Thomas Jefferson North was born on October 30, 1889, in Lonoke, Arkansas, his father, Jesse, was 44 and his mother, Martha, was 41. He married Murney Beatrice Fry in Arkansas. They had seven children in 10 years. He died on January 9, 1973, in DeWitt, Arkansas, at the age of 83, and was buried in De Witt, Arkansas.
