HIWASSE — Charlsie "Nadine" Daniels, 76, of Hiwasse died Oct. 10, 2005, at Summit Medical Center in Van Buren. She was born March 4, 1929, in Hiwasse to Laura Jane Spirgen and John Thomas Powell. She was a custodian for Wal-Mart Home Office in Bentonville for 15 years. She was of the Assembly of God faith and enjoyed working puzzles. She was preceded in death by her husband.
Survivors include one son, George Thompson and wife Wanda of Bentonville; one sister, Carrie Papez of Washington; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Bentonville Cemetery with Efton Loyd officiating. Her grandson, John Thompson, will read the obituary.
Memorials may be made to the Humane Society or a favorite charity.
