SELIGMAN, Mo. — Lillian Juanita Tisher, age 94, of Seligman, Mo., passed away Thursday, July 12, 2012, in her home.
She was born Aug. 7, 1917, in Seligman, the daughter of Anderson Riley and Iula (Cline) Still. On July 31, 1934, she was united in marriage to Clarence Tisher, who preceded her in death in 1965. Also preceding her in death were her parents, four brothers, two sisters, two grandsons and one great-great-grandchild.
Surviving are four daughters, Wanda Hachmeister of Seligman, Mo., Shirley Thomas and her husband, Lyndol of Washburn, Mo., Lola Anderson and her husband, Carl of Seligman, Mo. and Diane Bittle and her husband, Richard of Reeds Spring, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; two great-great-great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews and other family.
Lillian grew up at Seligman and received her education at Sunnyside School. She was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Seligman. Some of her favorite pastimes were quilting, crafts and playing bingo. She was very active in the Senior Center and she loved country music.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2012, in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Chaplain Jack Betts will conduct the services. Burial will be in Bayless Cemetery, Garfield, Ark.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
