Ronald K. Morse husband of Shirley Willene (Bell) Morse Whitlow. Ronald K. Morse son of Morse and Ruby (Lambert) Morse. Shirley Willene (Bell) Morse Whitlow daughter of Bert Manfern Bell and Rosettie (Mitchell) Bell.


Ronald K. Morse, 64, of Saffell died Saturday, May 17, 2003, at a Jonesboro hospital.

Born June 3, 1938, in Kinder, Mo., he was the son of Harve and Ruby Lambert Morse.

Survivors include his wife, Willene Bell Morse; a son, Kenny Morse of Saffell; two daughters, Annette Johnson of Newark and Paulette Meadows of Cord; two brothers, Coy Morse of Houston and Eddie Morse of Cord; seven sisters, Doris Jones and Peggy Richmond, both of Cord, Corda (sic - Cora) Hatler of Saffell, Betty Bales of Warren, Linda Hamilton of Cushman, Wilma Walker of Phoenix and Adelia Clements of Elkhart, Ind.; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Charles Morse, Wade Morse and
Harve Morse Jr.; a sister, Vona Faye Nebbit; and two grandsons, Randall Shane Morse and
Wayne Morse.

The funeral was at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Willis-Hays Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Stanley Vandergrift officiating. Burial was in Hopewell Cemetery at Cord.

Pallbearers were be Ronnie Cook, David Hendrickson, David Collins, Wayne Johnson, Ralph Bell and Don DeWitt.

Willene Bell Morse Whitlow, 72, of Saffell passed away Monday, October 14, 2013 in Batesville. She was born March 21, 1941 in Saffell to Bert Bell and Rosetta Mitchell Bell. She worked in logging and was a member of the Mt. Harmony Free Will Baptist Church where she was involved in many activities. She loved being with her grandchildren, animals, flowers, and plants.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ronald Morse; two grandsons, Shane Morse and Wayne Morse; one great granddaughter, Taylor Kayann Morrison; four brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include her husband, Gary Whitlow of the home; one son, Kenny Morse and his wife Rhonda of Saffell; two daughters, Annette Johnson and her husband Matt of Newark and Paulette Meadows and her husband Eddie of Cord; one brother, A.L. Bell of Saffell; eight grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.

Services will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, October 18, 2013 at Mt. Harmony Free Will Baptist Church with Stanley Vandergrift and R. J. Ackers officiating. Interment will be in the Hopewell Cemetery in Cord. Pallbearers are Glenn Meadows, Robert Johnson, Thomas Johnson, Aaron Jobe, Eddie Ray Doyle and Kenny Dingman.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 17, 2013 from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M.
