Charles ''Doug'' Satterwhite, 93, went to be with the Lord and his loving wife, November 10, 2020. He was born August 13, 1927 in Greenbrier, AR to the late Jessie and Ervin Satterwhite. Doug was a long time member of Central Baptist Church in Conway, Arkansas. He was a record clerk and retired in 1992 from Conway Police Department. Doug enjoyed hunting, fishing, but most of all spending time with his family. He never met a stranger and could always be found working on projects out in his shop. Doug was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife of 70 years, Freeda Mae Satterwhite, brother, J.B. Satterwhite, and sister, Wilma E. Thomas.

He is survived by his daughter, Becky (Robert) Hess, son, Danny (Beverly) Satterwhite, grandchildren, Cathy (Rob) Lively and Jeff (Sharon) Hess, great grandchildren, Tanner (Whitney), Jason, and Emily Lively, Devin and Kylie Hess, and a host of family and friends.

A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, November 13, 2020 at Thorn Cemetery in Greenbrier, Arkansas.

Freeda Mae Satterwhite, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on December 13, 2018 at the age of 87. Her passing was peaceful, and she was surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 25, 1931 in Greenbrier, AR to the late Ezra B. and Chloe (Baker) Spears. Freeda was also preceded in death by brothers Roy, Coy, Gene, Quinton, W.S., and Estes Spears; and a sister, Ernestine Spears.

She retired from SAS shoe factory and then enjoyed being a full-time wife, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family was her pride and joy and she will be remembered for her wonderful meals, her sweet hugs, and her love for God and family. Freeda enjoyed cooking, sewing, caring for her family, and keeping her beloved husband in line. She was a long-time member of Central Baptist Church in Conway.

Left to cherish her memory is her devoted and loving husband of 70 years, Doug Satterwhite; her children Becky (Robert) Hess and Danny (Beverly) Satterwhite; her granddaughter Cathy (Rob) Lively and grandson Jeff (Sharon) Hess; her five cherished great-grandchildren; Tanner, Jason, and Emily Lively, and Devin and Kylie Hess; and her loving sister Banner (Nate) Arnold. Freeda will also be missed by her little fur-buddy, Charlie.

Visitation will be Monday, December 17, 2018 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, AR at 12:00pm. Funeral services will follow immediately at 1:00pm. Interment will be at Thorn Cemetery in Greenbrier. Pastor Don Chandler of Central Baptist Church in Conway will be officiating the ceremonies along with Brother Darrell Spigner.
