Deborah Anne (Debbie) Davis 57, of Chidester, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017. Debbie was born October 26th , 1959 in Fulton, Mississippi. She lived in Chidester, Arkansas from 1982 – 2017.
Debbie has been greeted by her family on this beautiful Friday, her mother, Mary Williams, her father,
Bobby Thomas, and stepfather, DeWayne (Bud) Williams, her sister, Bobbie Jean Thomas, and her husband, Danny Ray Davis.
Debbie left this world leaving behind family members, her sons, Danny Joe Davis, and Johnathan Davis and his wife, Louise Davis; her two granddaughters, Alexis Davis and Victoria Davis; her three grandsons, Gabriel McDowell, Shawn-Michael Davis, and Killian Mitchell. She also left one niece, Amanda Orick; and three nephews, LaBrian McTigrit, Ricky Allen Gray, and Elijah Morgan; and two grandnephews, Matthew Wicker and Carter Orick.
Debbie was married to Danny Ray Davis on November 29th, 1975. Debbie and Danny were very spiritual, but most of all Christian. They were devoted to God and his Word, and shared their views with their family.
Debbie was an avid collector of cats. She loved her cat Bella. She was known as the lady on the hill with a lot of cats. She also loved wind chimes and butterflies. She was a bit of a homebody, but Church and being with her granddaughters brought her joy in the days after Danny passed away.
A memorial service for Debbie will be Saturday, March 18th, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Proctor Funeral Home Chapel. Her memorial will be a celebration of her going home to be with her family. Debbie always talked about a lot of food and laughter, but knew we would miss her dearly. Please wear purple, her favorite color. She will be laid to rest next to her husband Danny Ray Davis on this day.
Proctor Funeral Home of Camden is in charge of arrangements. Please send gifts and flowers to the funeral home. The Davis family would like to thank you for your kindness and love in this very difficult time. God Bless—and Rest in Peace Debbie. We will see you again.
