Danny E Reed, 56, of Russellville, died Sunday, August 10, 2008. at River Valley Medical Center in Dardanelle. Born February 16, 1952, in Russellville, Arkansas, he was the son of Haley Sue Duvall Reed and the late Joe R Reed. He attended the Assembly of God Church. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Jeff Reed and his grandparents, Leonard Duvall and Mr and Mrs Rufus Reed.Survivors include his mother, Sue Reed of Russellville; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Ronny Johnston of Atkins, his maternal grandmother, Myrtle Duvall of Russellville; and one nephew, Chad Johnston of Denton, Texas.
Pallbearers were Chad Johnston, Jackie Chronister, Johnny Johnson, Gene Taylor, Terry Lunningham, Gary Hudson and Greg Collins. Honorary bearers will be David Duvall, Charles Barber, Larry "Red" Wiley, Ronnie Watts and Paul Dean "Bo" Johnson.
