Sarah E Wallace, 81, went to meet her Lord on April 23, 2015. She was born October 22, 1933 in Atkins, Arkansas to the late Jerry Allen Shrives and Mamie Ellen Mason Shrives. She was retired from Whirlpool Corporation. She gave her life to the Lord at the age of 8 and was baptized in a pond in the country, and she trusted in Him until she took her last breath. Sarah enjoyed walking, loved her flowers and gardening, and also her loyal friendships. She had an enormous love for her family and also loved her many pets. Sarah was also preceded in death by her son, Jerry; her sister, Lillian; and her three brothers, Otis, Jim, and Bill. She is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Gail (Roger) McCann, and Mary Andrus; two sons, David (Suzanne) and Windell (Eleanor); one sister, Gladys; her brother-in-law, Don; her grandchildren, Trisha, Monica(Jeremy), Michael, Benjamin, Alex, Aspen(Matt), Ayla, Elizabeth, Penny(Randy and family); her great-grandchildren, Maddie, Hayden, Devin, Abigail, Timmy and Channing, as well as her great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation and memorial will be Monday, May 4, 2015, from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM at Edwards Funeral Home. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. Memorials may be sent to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Northwest Arkansas Branch, 4241 Gabel Drive, Suite 2B, Fayetteville Arkansas 72703 or St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105 or the Alzheimer’s foundation of your choice.
