Paul Henderson, 80, of Russellville, Arkansas went home to be with his Lord Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at St Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville. The son of Fred and Ophelia (Weddle) Henderson, he was born November 8, 1934 in West Blocton, Alabama. He worked as a custodian for Frolic Footwear. Paul was an accomplished singer and met his wife while touring with his quartet group in Alabama. Paul was also a long time supporter of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Disabled Veterans of America. He was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Russellville where he sang in the choir. He enjoyed reading his Bible, going to church and singing. He was preceded in death by his wife Francis V (Sherbett) Henderson; an infant son, Jerry Wayne Henderson; his parents; and a brother, Murphy Lee Henderson.

Survivors include his son, Johnny Henderson and wife, Regina; sister, April Ritchie and husband, Donald; all of Russellville; and numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and extended family.

Pallbearers are Bill Williamson, Don White, Steve Gist, Bob Hope, Jerry Little, Larry Morell, Jerry Williams and Danny McKinnon. Honorary pallbearers are members of the Second Baptist Choir and Paul’s Bible class. Memorials may be made to the Russellville Second Baptist Church Choir.
