Clifton Richard Cox, 80, of Alma, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2014 in a local hospital.

He was a retired self employed surveyor, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Alma and a former resident of Longview, TX.

He was born August 7, 1933 in Lafayette, TX to the late Ross L. and Ethel (Martin) Cox.

He was preceded in death by his wife Lauralea Cox.

Services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with interment in Dyer Cemetery. The family will visit with friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday evening at Ocker Funeral Home, 917 Hwy. 64 East, Alma.

Survivors include three daughters, Deborah Johnson of Hot Springs, Tasha Bius of Huntsville, TX and Virginia Dale of Longview, TX; three sons, Michael Cox and Benny Cox both of Alma, AR and Ed Cox of Longview, TX; 15 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Kris Cox, Kolby Cox, Andy Ross, Alan Cox, Ed Cox, Billy Garner and Adam Cox
