Mr. Charles R. Cox, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, died September 8, 2012, in Tulsa. Mr. Cox was 91 years old. He was a retired employee of Armour Food and Cong-Agri. Charles was born in Dripping Springs, AR in 1921. The son of Hugh and Sara Cox, he was the youngest of 5 siblings and the last of his generation. He graduated from Van Buren High School where he was a debater and an athlete. He met his beautiful wife Audrey in Van Buren at the Bob Burns Theater.
Mr. Cox was preceded in death by his parents and his wife: Audrey Cox.
He is survived by 2 sons: Ronn Cox, of Highland, Texas and Dale Cox, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 3 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; other relatives; and many friends.
Funeral service was held on September 18, 2012, at Ocker Funeral Memorial Chapel.
He was laid to rest at Gracelawn Cemetery.

Audrey Arnold Cox, 87 of Tulsa Oklahoma, died Tuesday, June 28, 2011 in Jenks, Oklahoma.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker; a member of the Christ United Methodist Church in Tulsa and a former member of Tomahawk Children's Theatre in Kansas City. Audrey was always the life of every party and loved to entertain her family and her many friends. She was born in Alma, AR and formerly of Galveston & San Antonio, TX and Overland Park, KA. She married her husband, Charles, on June 1, 1941. She was the youngest of seven children of William & Mary Arnold.
She is survived by her husband of seventy years, Charles Cox of Tulsa, OK; two sons, Ronn Cox & wife Gay of Highland Village, TX and Dale Cox & wife, Mickey of Tulsa, OK; three grandchildren, Courtney Rineer & husband, Dr. Justin Rineer of Winter Park, FL, Curt Cox of Tulsa, OK and Anna Cox of Fairview, TX; two great grandchildren, Jack and Clara Rineer.
Funeral services will be held Saturday July 2nd 2011 at 10:00am at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with Rev. Charles Chadwick officiating.
Music will be provided by Curt Cox.
Burial will be at Gracelawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Wilford Arnold, Paul Dumas, Justin Rineer, Ron Smith, Bill Shepherd, and Clyde McClure.
