Roberta Ella (Starr) Stephens daughter of Rhea Millard Starr Sr and Ellen Pansy (Phillips) Starr. Kenneth Marion Stephens son of Joshua Stephens and Bessie Stephens.

IMBODEN — Kenneth Marion Stephens, 81, son of the late Joshua and Bessie Stephens, passed away Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard Stephens; son, Donald Stephens; and great-grandson, Beau Young.
He is survived by his wife, Roberta Stephens of the home; son, Kenny Stephens of Imboden; daughters, Teresa and Danny Rowsey of Black Rock, Diane and Lanny Wells, Gina and Larry Blansett, and Melanie Stephens, all of Imboden; and one sister, Norma Jean Smith of Columbia, Ill.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Victor Stephens of Colorado; Terry, Becky Stephens, Renee, Cerda and Hunter Stephens of Springdale; Billy, Starla, Daniel Rowsey, Jessie and Rodney James of Black Rock; Hannah Rowsey of Arkadelphia; Danette, Patrick, Kyle, Tyler and Jessica Murphy of Williford; Tamya, George, Aliceson and Jonathan Stallings of Newport; Khara and Jeff Sorenson, Caleb Madison, Zackary and Chase Wilson and Riley Sorenson of Fort Worth, Texas; Kristina and Tristan Young of Rose Bud; Demi and Josh Stephens and Eric Wells of Imboden; Tessa Jose Brunson of Horn Lake, Miss.; Andrea, Frankie, Kyleigh, Addisen and Bryce Echeveria of Ravenden; and Gary, Suzie, Brayden, Jayce, Avery and Mason Blansett of Harrah, Okla.
Kenneth was a self-employed mechanic, body shop owner, grocery store owner, gas station clerk and used car dealer, as well as a cable TV owner. He was in the Air Force and the Lawrence County Regional Water District Board of Directors for 28 years. He also received the Sloan-Hendrix Appreciation Plaque.
His service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Assembly of God in Imboden with Michael Bradley officiating. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 tonight at the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home.
Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be the grandsons and great-grandsons.
Kenneth couldn’t stand the thought of a family going hungry or a child waking up Christmas morning and not having gifts under the tree. He always tried to provide for everyone. So memorials are requested to Sloan-Hendrix Community Baskets or to the Angel Tree fund. Donations can be dropped off at Diann’s Beauty Shop and Sloan-Hendrix School Elementary office.
Any other memorials may be made to the First Assembly of God in Imboden.

Imboden- Roberta Stephens, 82, passed away on November 10, 2016 at St. Bernards Medical Center surrounded by loved ones.
Roberta was born September 20, 1934 in Imboden, AR to Rhea Sr. and Pansey Ellen Phillips Starr.
She was preceded in death by husband, Kenneth Stephens; son, Donald Stephens; grandchild, Beau Young; sisters, Lillian Hackworth, Virginia Castleman, Mary Pope; brothers, Everett Starr, Rhea Starr Jr., and Charles Starr.
She is survived by children, Kenny Stephens of Imboden, Teresa Rowsey of Black Rock, Diane (Lanny) Wells and Gina (Larry) Blansett both of Imboden; daughter-in-law, Melanie Stephens of Imboden; 14 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; sister, Ruth Potter of Imboden; and brother Herbert Starr of Jonesboro.
All services will be at the Imboden First Assembly of God Church. Visitation is Sunday, November 13, 2016 from 2-5 pm. Funeral will be Monday, November 14, 2016 at 2pm with Michael Bradley officiating. Burial in Hope Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be the grandsons with great grandsons as honorary pallbearers.
