When Robert Jefferson Fellers was born on December 3, 1874, in Arkansas, his father, William, was 22 and his mother, Eliza, was 20. He married Rosie May Cleaver on October 18, 1903, in Conway, Arkansas. They had ten children in 26 years. He died on June 30, 1959, in his hometown at the age of 84, and was buried in Old Hickory, Arkansas.
