Charles Harold Haynes, age 59, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2005, at White County Medical Center in Searcy, Arkansas. Born in Wynne, Arkansas, on September 7, 1946, he was the son of Viva Childers Haynes and the late Charles Hubert Haynes.

A former resident of Bald Knob, Mr. Haynes was a barber and minister, and he had lived in Heber Springs since 1993. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, painting, wood working, and making crafts. Mr. Haynes' religious faith was Pentecostal.

He is survived by his wife, Violet Haynes of Heber Springs; one son, Ronnie Haynes of Searcy; one daughter, Lynette Haynes of Hot Springs; his mother, Viva Haynes of North Little Rock; one sister, Virginia Singleton of North Little Rock; his stepdaughter, Erica Walley of Heber Springs, and five other stepchildren; and several step-grandchildren. Mr. Haynes is also survived by other relatives and his many friends.

Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 25, at the Word of Faith in Albion with funeral services beginning at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Velvet Ridge Cemetery. Arrangements are by Olmstead Funeral Home, Inc.
