ROGERS - Leonard V. Jacobs, 100, died on Jan. 11, 2015, in Rogers. He was born on July 9, 1914 in Newton, Iowa to the late Charles and Emma (Lenz) Jacobs.

He was the husband of the late Helen D. (Antle) Jacobs. Mr. Jacobs loved woodworking and built his own home with wood from the sawmill he owned for many years.

He was also a talented chef and worked in Chuck's Restaurant in Demoine, Iowa.

He is survived by his sister, Frances Leonardo of Illinois. He is preceded in death by his two brothers, Bertrum and Delbert Jacobs. Private services will be conducted at a later date and are under the care of Rollins Funeral Home.

ROGERS — Helen Delores Antle Jacobs of Rogers died March 17, 2007, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers. She was born Aug. 24, 1915, in Kellogg, Iowa, to John I. and Vivian InLow Antle. She was a secretary for One Minute Washing Machine Corp., and was owner of a greenhouse and a mill. She moved to Rogers in 1986.

Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Leonard of the home; and one sister, Margie Winter of Rogers.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Bland Cemetery with the Rev. Sandra Wanasek officiating.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers.
