When Opal L Mahan was born on September 30, 1911, in Arkansas, her father, Chester Lowell Mahan, was 20, and her mother, Loretta Dockins Mahan, was 21. She married Delmas Vincent Bradley on September 29, 1928. They had one child during their marriage. She died on August 29, 1996, in Morrilton, Arkansas, at the age of 84, and was buried in Center Ridge, Arkansas.
